This source gave me an in dept description of both his childhood life as well as his adult life. By reading this article I was able to understand his motives behind his courage.

This historical reference gave me more information about exactly where the war took him to as well as what ranks he was. This was helpful as far as the factual references I needed.

This was a good army source which showed me exactly what he was doing the army, what ranks he progressed to.

This encyclopedia is another good resources that described his upbringing and what his family situation was like. This also helped me to further understand why he worked so hard at what he did.

This resources gave me an abundance of dates as well as a small timeline that I could compare other significant events during that time to.

This book gave me further background on World War II and what was going on, as well as what role Murphy played in it.
